FOOTBALL PUNDIT, GARY LINEKAR, ONE MATCH AWAY FROM PRESENTING MATCH OF THE DAY IN HIS BRIEFS AS LEICESTER EDGES CLOSER TO TITLE

LEICESTER legend Gary Lineker has admitted that has talked to Match of the Day execs about stripping off on air — after West Brom stuck the boot in.
The former Foxes hitman, 55, promised in December that if Ranieri’s side finished top he’d present the Saturday night highlights show in his underwear.
And after Spurs slipped up at home to West Brom last night, Lineker has been forced to make plans for the big reveal.

He told the Radio Times: “I’ve kind of said I’ll have to do it.
“The conversation’s been had. I’ve told them many times, ‘Please tell me I can’t do it’
“When I sent the tweet in December I categorically knew there was zero chance that (Leicester) would win.

“I’m in good shape. For an old b*****d. I’ll probably work out for the two weeks beforehand very, very hard.”
West Brom came from behind at the Lane as Craig Dawson’s header denied Spurs a third straight win, leaving Leicester just one victory away from an astonishing title.

And the Baggies laid into Lineker on Twitter, saying: “The crisps are on you @GaryLineker...Time to iron those pants and start hitting the gym? #WBA”.
Comedian Matt Lucas was next to wade in, sending Lineker a picture of some see-through briefs with the caption ‘found the perfect pair for you’.
Leicester have defied odds of 5000/1 to top the Premier League table with three games to go — and a win against Manchester United would secure their first league title.
