CHELSEA AGREE DEAL TO SIGN ROMA MIDFIELDER, RADJA NAINGOLAN- REPORTS

CHELSEA have agreed a £28million deal to sign Roma’s Radja Mainggolan this summer, according to reports.
The Belgian midfielder has verbally agreed a five-year deal with the west London side and will become Antonio Conte’s first signing for the club.
Goal are reporting that terms between the player’s representatives, Roma and the Blues have been finalised over the last 48 hours after several weeks of negotiations.

Walter Sabatini, Roma’s sporting director, was spotted at Stamford Bridge earlier this month as he attended a meeting with Chelsea officials after Conte identified Mainggolan as his number one target.
Sabatini seemed resigned to losing his star man, admitting earlier this week: “Nainggolan is a universal midfielder, so strong in every area of the game that he is wanted by many clubs”.
The transfer will not be announced officially until the end of the season, with Goal claiming a Roma representative telling them: “I know there is a Chelseainterest in Nainggloan but he is our player and we are happy with him, we cannot speak about the transfer market at this time.”
