DELE ALLI ACCEPTS VIOLENT CONDUCT CHARGE FROM FA , SET TO MISS SEASON RUN-IN

The midfielder will be banned for three matches after he opted not to contesta violent conduct charge after punching West Brom’s Claudio Yacob on Monday. The incident was missed by ref Mike Jones but picked up on TV replays.
The PFA Young Player of the Year will next be available to play for England against Turkey in a friendly at Etihad Stadium on May 22.
It is a significant blow to Spurs who are now seven points behind Leicester with just three games left.

Alli clashed with Baggies' Yacob off the ball

Alli has made a significant contribution to Maurico Pochettino’s side this term with 10 goals and nine assists in the Premier League.
The 20-year-old is the second England player to be banned in as many weeks after Leicester’s Jamie Vardy accepted an improper charge last week - and was handed a two-game suspension.
And Alli's decision to accept the charge comes just 24 hours after Real Madrid were tentatively linked with the ex-MK Dons stylist.
