Rafa Nadal proved to be the ultimate dotting dad or at least so it seemed. The tennis super star stopped an Exhibition match he was playing to pay attention to an alarm raised by the spectators in the stands over a missing kid. Rafa was supposed to be concentrating on his match but riveted attention to the stands and looked on helplessly from the court as the search went on.
This
took place Wednesday during an exhibition match in Nadal’s native
Mallorca. Partnered with a teenager named Simon Solbas, and squaring off
against Carlos Moya and John McEnroe, Nadal was on serve when a
commotion in the crowd (that would normally halt as play resumes) didn’t
stop. And rightfully so.
Nadal stopped, the crowd did too, and mother and daughter were reunited.
