Future
has hit back at his ex-fiancée Ciara's claims that his foul-mouthed
Twitter tirade cost her a $500,000 cosmetics contract.
The
rapper, 32 - who has son Future Zahir, two, with the singer, 30 -
claims he has 'nothing to do' with the international company being
scared away from doing business with the R&B star after his rant
back in January.
TMZ reports
the hip-hop sensation is claiming the incident should not be part of
Ciara's $15million defamation lawsuit against him and is calling for the
judge presiding over the case to 'dismiss this part of her claims'.
The
website states: ' He says Ciara has no proof any such deal fell apart.
Further, he points out she hasn't even said which company was supposedly
courting her.'
In
July, Ciara took time out of her honeymoon with new husband Russell
Wilson to file yet another lawsuit against her estranged ex-fiancé
Future (born Nayvadius Wilburn).
The
singer claimed claimed her ex's Twitter tirade in January scared off a
$500,000 contract from 'an international cosmetics company'.
'I
been silent for a year & a half.. I ran outta patience,' the
Purple Reign rapper - who has joint-custody their two-year-old son
Future Jr. - tweeted at the time.
The
Grammy winner - born Ciara Princess Harris - responded by filing
a defamation lawsuit at Georgia's Fulton Superior Court demanding
$15million, $250,000 for legal fees, and a retraction/apology.
Ciara claimed he had made 'several false and defamatory statements' in the press about her and her mothering skills.
Daily
Mail Online shared an email between the former couple's attorneys where
Ciara claimed Future returned their son 'in dirty clothes,
smelling like smoke, and reeking of urine.'
The attorney denied the star was using their son 'as a weapon'.
