ANGRY MOB AMPUTATES TELEVISION THIEF'S HAND IN AKWA IBOM

An angry mob has amputated the hand of a suspected thief who was caught while trying to steal a plasma television from a football viewing centre in Uyo Metropolis, Akwa Ibom.
According to Pulse, the young man whose identity is yet to be disclosed was caught in the act by the angry youths as he was about to make away with the Plasma TV.

According to an eyewitnesses, the suspect had gone to the viewing center located at Ibiam Street around 5am and was about removing the television when someone spotted him and raised the alarm.
The aggrieved youths gave him a hot chase and nabbed him as he was about jumping over a gate and beat him mercilessly.
The intervention of a police team saved him from being beaten to death but not before his wrist was amputated by the angry mob.
