SUSPECTED CULTISTS KILL STUDENT IN RIVERS

Gunmen suspected to be cultists have shot dead a young man identified as Clinton Opribo-Amos in Ikwerre Local Government Area of Rivers State.

DAILY POST gathered that Opribo-Amos was killed in a gun attack at a hotel within Omokiri village in Aluu community.

Until his death, he was a student in the Department of Linguistic Studies at the University of Port Harcourt.

A source, who confirmed the development to our correspondent, said the suspected cultists fired gunshots indiscriminately, turned off the generating set supplying electricity to the hotel, before aiming at their target.
