DONALD TRUMP'S CAMPAIGN MANAGER SLAMMED WITH ASSAULT CHARGE

Donald Trump's campaign manager, Corey Lewandowski, has been arrested and charged with simple battery, according to police records, in relation to an incident on the Presidential candidate's campaign trail.
The report from the Jupiter Police Department said Lewandowski intentionally grabbed and bruised the arm of former Breibart reporter, Michelle Fields, at a Trump campaign event on March 8.
Police said her account was apparently backed up by CCTV of the alleged incident.
Lewandowski reportedly voluntarily attended the police station today just after 8am and was formally charged.
In a statement, Trump said Lewandowski was "absolutely innocent".
