JUSTICE OKON ABANG IS A DISGRACE TO NIGERIAN JUDICIARY- MAKARFI LED PDP FACTION

The Peoples Democratic Party, PDP, has described Justice Okon Abang of an Abuja Federal High Court as an embarrassment to the Nigerian judiciary.

PDP made the remark following the judge’s ruling suspending the party’s National Convention slated for Wednesday in Port Harcourt, Rivers State.

Abang had suspended the convention on Monday while entertaining a suit to determine who was the authentic Chairman of the party between, Sen Ahmed Makarfi and the embattled factional Chairman of the party, Sen Ali Modu Sheriff.

But an aspiriant for the office of the party’s National Publicity Secretary, Deji Adeyanju, who took to his twitter handle, @adeyanjudeji disclosed that the party will issue justice Abang a serious warning during the convention.

Adeyanju wrote: “Abang is embarrassing the judiciary & we will issue a serious warning to him at the convention ground.”
