Lucy Liu
welcomed son Rockwell Lloyd via gestational surrogacy in 2015 and now
reveals how motherhood has changed her life for the better.
“The priorities shift,” the 47-year-old actress told The Insider With Yahoo as she celebrated 100 episodes of her CBS show Elementary.
“Everything becomes really magical and fresh and quite funny. Like, I
don’t think I’ve ever laughed as much as I have in this year in my life.
Because everything is just ridiculously hilarious. It’s great.”
And the proud mama couldn’t help but gush over her baby boy. “He’s incredibly curious and he’s also very smart,” she said.
On Saturday, Lucy celebrated her little one’s first birthday with a sweet photo on Instagram.
“Happy 1st birthday to my little love Rockwell,” she captioned the
black-and-white pic of her son at the Bronx Zoo. “This has been the most
incredible year of new adventures and endless fun.” Lucy also dished on
the possibility of rebooting Ally McBeal and Charlie’s Angels. Check out the video to find out what she said, and tune in to The Insider With Yahoo tonight for more from our sit-down with the cast of Elementary.
