PDP CRISIS- LANDLORD SEALS OFF PDP ISOKO SOUTH LOCAL GOVERNMENT SECRETARIAT IN DELTA STATE OVER NON PAYMENT OF RENT

The Isoko South Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) secretariat in Oleh has been sealed off by the landlord over non-payment of rent owed by the owner.
The secretariat situated along Emede Road, Oleh, headquarters of Isoko South Local Government Area of Delta State was said to have been sealed off for over three weeks now.
SaharaReporters learned that the rent which is normally footed by individuals in the party.
Meanwhile, a leadership crisis is currently rocking the Isoko South PDP, arising from the recently concluded local government and wards congresses of the party which has created two factions in the party.
Rising from a meeting of Isoko South 'Save PDP Group' comprising party leaders, elders, and stakeholders held in Oleh on Monday,  the group warned the state governor, Ifeanyi Okowa, against fraternizing with some of his appointees from Isoko South who have succeeded in tearing the party apart.
Addressing the media on behalf of the 'Save PDP Group', shortly after the meeting, the coordinator of the group, Dickson Fineboy Ebegbare, called on Mr. Okowa, to as a matter of urgency and importance, look into the imposition of candidates in the local government and wards executives of the party and the impunity being perpetrated in the party by some of his loyalists and appointees in from the area.
According to the 'Save PDP Group' should Mr. Okowa allow the impunity which he is fully abreast with to continue in the party in Isoko South, the fate of the party will be in jeopardy in the 2019 general elections.
The group, while also accusing the governor of being too slow to address some of the lingering issues facing the state vowed not to work with the Mr. Ralph Odorewu-led executive in the local government and wards until the governor carries out harmonisation in the party.
