According to Gazzetta, the Frenchman who is set to earn £290,000-a-week, could complete his medical in LA on Friday before putting pen-to-paper on a long-term deal.
The move had been put on hold after Mino Raiola demanded £20m in agent fees but it is believed that United will stump up the whole cost.
The midfielder has been spending his time off in America and recently published a cryptic post on his Instagram filling his supercar with petrol before heading down Route 66.
