BARCELONA UNVEIL 41 M POUNDS SIGNING, ANDRE GOMES

ANDRE GOMES was officially unveiled as a Barcelona player today in his first photoshoot for the Catalan giants.

The Portuguese international, who arrived in a £41.7 million deal from fellow La Liga side Valencia, arrived at the city’s airport this evening and went to the club’s training ground for the snaps after passing a medical.

Playmaker Gomes, 22, starred for his country as they lifted the Euro 2016 trophy and has been a mainstay for Valencia for the past two seasons.
He began his career at Benfica before impressing on a season-long loan deal with Valencia, which earnt him a permanent move.
