RONALDO has identified the English player who most reminds him of his own incredible talents — Manchester United’s Marcus Rashford.
Two-time World Cup winner Ronaldo is widely considered to be one of the greatest footballers of all time.
With power, skill and an instinctive style of play he is Brazil’s second highest all-time scorer after Pele with 62 strikes for his national side before he retired as a player five years ago
And he says he sees some of that spark in Old Trafford kid Rashford.
Ronaldo told SunSport: “He’s a very good young player. I see some of myself in him for sure — he has courage and he’s fast and is very good with the ball.
“I think for the strikers they have to be hungry to score and I see that with him. He has an amazing future.”
Rashford, 18, has been ruled out of joining England’s Under-21s at the Toulon Tournament later this month because of United’s 21 May FA Cup final with Crystal Palace.
