GRANADA 0 BARCA 3- LUIS SUAREZ WINS IT FOR THE CATALANS & WRESTLES THE PICHICHI FROM RONALDO & MESSI WITH 40 GOALS

BARCELONA eased to a sixth La Liga title in eight years as Luis Suarez’s hat-trick downed Granada.
The former Liverpool striker also became the first player other than Cristiano Ronaldo or Lionel Messi to claim the Pichichi trophy as the top goalscorer in Spain since Diego Forlan in 2009.
A dramatic recent dip in form had reignited the title race, with Luis Enrique’s men coming into the final day just a point ahead of Real Madrid.

However, despite knowing their Clasico rivals had taken an early lead against Deportivo, the pressure didn’t show.
Suarez opened the scoring on 22 minutes.
And, seven minutes before half-time, he made sure the champagne was put on ice by adding a second.

The champagne could then be taken out of the bucket and poured into glasses as the Uruguayan made it 3-0 with four minutes remaining.
Barca looked set to ease the 24th La Liga title in March.
However, a draw and three successive defeats opened up the door to challengers —with Diego Simeone’s Atletico level with the Catalans and Real Madrid just a point further behind.
