England beat Australia 2-1 in a friendly at the Stadium of Light, with teen debutant Marcus Rashford scoring a brilliant goal in the second minute with only his fourth touch of the game.
Wayne Rooney smashed in a second for Roy Hodgson's side – his first England goal as a sub – before an Eric Dier headed own goal gave Australia some hope midway through the second half.
