Paul Pogba is a wanted man this summer and the Juventus midfielder has admitted that he considers Manchester United as his first family after Sir Alex Ferguson brought him to the club in 2009.
After playing in the European Championship final, the 23-year-old is currently on holiday in Los Angeles after being given an extended break – but when asked about his future, Pogba stated that it is still up in the air.
“Manchester United was my first family,” said Pogba. “If [Jose] Mourinho called? I don't know what will happen.”
The France international is happy at the Bianconeri, but with Champions League winners also after the Juventus powerhouse, both elite clubs are chasing his signature.
“It [Juventus] is my team. My family. It’s where I’m playing and where I’m at ease,” said Pogba. “They’re [Real Madrid] a big club. They won the Champions League this year.”
Despite Antoine Griezmann winning the golden boot at Euro 2016 with six goals, Pogba admits that Cristiano Ronaldo deserves the Ballon d’Or.
“I like both Ronaldo and Messi,” said the 23-year-old. “Griezmann has had a wonderful year, but Cristiano won the Champions League and European Championship.”
