Liverpool defender Mamadou Sakho's anti-doping hearing will be heard on Thursday, a UEFA source has told ESPN FC.
Sakho, 26, will find out his fate from the UEFA Control, Ethics and Disciplinary board in "due course," the source added.
The centre-back was banned by UEFA in April for 30 days pending the results of a full investigation into an anti-doping violation, having already been stood down from first-team duty by Liverpool.
PA Sport reported that the alleged offence related to the Reds' Europa League tie at Manchester United in March, and RMC said it concerned a "fat-burning" substance.
It was reported in May that UEFA had opted not to extend the suspension and that the governing body is investigating whether the substance which Sakho tested positive for should even be on the World Anti-Doping Agency's (WADA) banned list.
The Daily Telegraph and Daily Express report that Sakho's legal team believe they a strong case that the substance he took should not be deemed illegal.
Sakho's 30-day suspension ended on May 28 and missed the Europa League final defeat to Sevilla. He was also not part of France's squad for this summer's European Championship in his homeland.
The defender was part of Liverpool's preseason training on Saturday ahead of the club's 2016-17 campaign.
