WAYNE ROONEY famously had to google Anthony Martial when he joined Manchester United — to find out who he was.

But the Frenchman, who could end up costing an eye-watering £57.6million, hardly needs any introduction now after a stunning debut season.

Martial, 20, has hit 17 goals, including an injury-time winner in the semi-final against Everton to earn today’s FA Cup final place.

And he grinned: “Well Wayne knows me now, doesn’t he! I’ve heard that story as well — I guess it’s pretty amusing.

“It was a very important goal in the semi-final and it was the one that got us through and killed off the match because it was so near to the end of the game.
