PARIS SAINT-GERMAIN’S clash with Nantes was temporarily paused on ten minutes so fans could pay tribute to Zlatan Ibrahimovic — to send Twitter into meltdown.
The wacky gesture is in honour of the Super Swede, who was named captain in his last game for the French outfit.
Authorities gave PSG the green light to allow the stoppage in the minute which represents Zlatan’s shirt number.
Supporters were able to enjoy the match by donning an Ibrahimovic mask — as around 40,000 were distributed among the terraces.
But fans took to social media to show their disdain at the move.
Ibrahimovic opened the scoring eight minutes later using his torso to net his 37th league goal of the season.
Ibra could still grace the Premier League, with the likes of Manchester United reportedly interested.
