 well, she is one of the victims of the ill fated Peace Mass Transit bus that had a head on collision with a truck in which 13 lives were lost last sunday at Aba. She has been in coma since the incident. the gist is that she is now out of coma. The update was shared by a twitter user as reported by a local newspaper.

A reporter with Abia Fact Newspaper has just confirmed that Joy Akabuike is alive. She has regained consciousness days after the ghastly accident.

All the passengers (except her) were confirmed dead following an accident involving a commercial bus belonging to Peace Mass Transit and a truck last Sunday May 22nd in Umuahia, Abia State.
