YOBO TURNS DOWN LUCRATIVE CHINA MOVE

joseph-yobo_uuglh9Former Super Eagles captain, Joseph Yobo, recently rejected a big-money move to China.
According to sources close to CompleteSports, an unnamed Chinese team was keen on signing the Nigerian defender on a one-year deal, but he turned it down because of distance.
“A top club in China was keen on signing Joe (Yobo) recently, but he turned down the offer because of distance,” the source claimed.
“The offer was a lucrative one and it was just for a year.
“He was not particularly keen on making the long journey from Nigeria to China and that was the main reason he turned down the offer.”
Yobo, who won 100 caps during his international career, last played for Norwich in the English Premier League.
