IHEANACHO AND IWOBI BEATEN TO GOLDEN BOY AWARD BY PORTUGAL'S RENATO SANCHES

Bayern Munich wonder-kid, and Portugal international, Renato Sanchez has emerged the winner of the European Golden Boy Award.
It would be recalled that Wayne Rooney, Sergio Aguero, Febrigas, and Anthony Martial had all won the same award.
European Golden Boy is the annual award handed out to football’s most talented young player.
Manchester City and Nigerian forward, Kelechi Iheanacho and Arsenal’s Alex Iwobi were nominated but could not clinch the award
However, England youngster, Marcus Rashford and France’s Kingsley Coleman came second and third respectively.

Sanchez, who won the Euro 2016 with Portugal, will receive the trophy during Monday’s ceremony in Monte Carlo, but organisers, Tuttosport revealed the winner on their front page prior to the prize-giving.
Meanwhile Milan goalkeeper, Gianluigi Donnarumma made the top 10 as the only Italian representative.

Manchester United Anthony Martial received the 2015 edition of the award.
Thirty journalists working at some of Europe’s most prestigious news outlets vote yearly for the World’s most talented youngster.
