DONALD TRUMP JR CLAIMS FATHER'S LEAKED CONVERSATIONS ABOUT WOMEN IS " A FACT OF LIFE"

In an audio obtained by CNN of Trump, Jr.'s appearance on KIRO radio 97.3's Dori Monson Show, the 38-year-old defended his father's lewd comments from a 2005 conversation with then-Access Hollywood host Billy Bush -- saying that his father's so-called "locker room talk" was just "a fact of life."

"Obviously he's not happy about that, but I think we all probably know guys who have had conversations with guys who go a little bit in that direction," Trump, Jr. said. "That's a fact of life."
Trump's oldest son then went on to suggest that his father's unfiltered remarks -- which degraded women like ET's Nancy O'Dell and soap star Arianne Zucker -- are a reason for "ordinary Americans" to vote for him.

"I think he's able to relate to ordinary Americans, because in many ways he is very much like that," Trump, Jr. said. "He does do that."
"He hasn't spent his whole life sitting there polishing every statement he's ever made -- every conversation he's ever had," he explained. "He doesn't run a focus group so he can tell you what he's thinking. He speaks from the heart."

BRAD PITT AND SON, MADDOX MEET FOR THE FIRST TIME FACE TO FACE AFTER PLANE INCIDENT

Brad Pitt had his first visit in more than a month with his 15-year-old son, Maddox … since their confrontation last month on a private jet … TMZ has learned.

Sources connected with Angelina say the two met Wednesday afternoon with a therapist present. There had been a plan in place for Brad and Maddox to reunite a while back, but we’re told the therapist felt the timing wasn’t right.

The sources say Brad has had visits with his 5 other kids before Wednesday, but the face-to-face with Maddox is a turning point.
As was reported, Brad and Angelina agreed to a temporary custody plan which the L.A. County Dept. of Children and Family Services created, in which Angelina gets temporary physical custody and Brad gets visitation.

As we reported, DCFS is still investigating the airplane incident and the FBI questioned Angelina and the kids Tuesday in a fact-finding mission. Our law enforcement sources stress there is no FBI investigation … just fact-finding.
Our Angelina sources say, even though she’s headed to divorce court, she still wants their family to function with a fully involved father and mother.

SALMA HAYEK IS THE LATEST WOMAN TO MAKE ALLEGATIONS ABOUT TRUMP

The 50-year-old actress opened up about Donald Trump during a Spanish-language interview on El Show del Mandril on Radio Centro 93.9 in Los Angeles on Friday.

The Frida star began her interview by arguing that if Trump won the presidential election, it would be really bad for the Hispanic community. She also revealed that Trump once courted her, despite knowing that she was in a relationship at the time.
"When I met that man, I had a boyfriend, and he tried to become his friend to get my home telephone number," she shared of meeting the 70-year-old business man early in her career. "He got my number and he would call me to invite me out."
"When I told him I wouldn't go out with him even if I didn't have a boyfriend, [which he took as disrespectful], he called -- well, he wouldn't say he called, but someone told the National Enquirer," Hayek continued.
"Someone told the National Enquirer -- I'm not going to say who, because you know that whatever he wants to come out comes out in the National Enquirer. It said that he wouldn't go out with me because I was too short," she recalled.

"Later, he called and left me a message. 'Can you believe this? Who would say this? I don't want people to think this about you,'" she claimed. "He thought that I would try to go out with him so people wouldn't think that's why he wouldn't go out with me."
This isn't the first time Hayek has talked about Trump. She previously called out the Republican nominee on Twitter after he confused 9/11 and 7-Eleven during a campaign speech in April.
And while Trump has often been criticized for racist comments, Hayek has been passionate about increasing the awareness of racism in America.

"We have a big problem," Hayek told ET last July. "I think that this is the big elephant in the room. Because there were many years where people were saying, 'oh, racism is over in America.' And 'America is very inclusive.' And I think in the last couple of years, more and more, we're realizing that that is a lie and that this is a very big problem that we need to deal with."

DONALD TRUMP THREATENS TO SUE THE WOMEN WHO ACCUSED HIM OF SEXUAL MISCONDUCT

Donald Trump said on Saturday, Oct. 22, that he plans to sue the women who accused him of sexual misconduct following the release of his now-infamous lewd 2005 video.
“Every woman lied when they came forward to hurt my campaign,” the Republican presidential candidate, 70, said during an appearance in Gettysburg, Pennsylvania. “Total fabrication. The events never happened. Never. All of these liars will be sued after the election is over.”

“But a simple phone call placed to the biggest newspapers or television networks gets them wall-to-wall coverage with virtually no fact-checking whatsoever,” Trump continued.
The real estate mogul then pointed the finger at his opponent, Democratic presidential nominee Hillary Clinton. “It was probably the [Democratic National Committee] and Hillary’s campaign who put forward these liars with their fabricated stories,” he said on Saturday. “But we’ll probably find out later through litigation, which we’re so looking forward to.”

The sexual misconduct allegations came after a 2005 recording of Trump bragging about groping women during a conversation with Billy Bush was released online by The Washington Post in early October. In the days following, at least 10 women came forward with claims that Trump inappropriately touched them over the past 30 years.
An 11th accuser is set to hold a press conference in Los Angeles at 2 p.m. local time on Saturday with her attorney, Gloria Allred. The news conference marks the first time the female accuser, who has not yet been identified, will speak publicly about her allegations against Trump.

The businessman has repeatedly denied the sexual misconduct allegations.

" I STILL WASH DISHES, CLEAN THE HOUSE"- ZACK ORJI

Veteran Nollywood actor, director and producer, Zack Orji, yesterday said that his life, work and lifestyle have influenced so many people, adding that he still engages in domestic chores in his home.
The film director, one of the pioneers of the movie industry, told Punch that he is not thinking of leaving any legacy for his children and the society, but to impact positively on people.
According to him, “I do not know about legacy. But I know that my life, work and lifestyle have influenced many people.

“I believe that is the essence of living. God created us to impact positively on others; to empower others and make them realise their dreams.
“Anybody who lived in a way that his or her life did not impact positively on others either knowingly or unknowingly lived a wasted life.”
The film maker, noted that he assists his wife to perform domestic chores, adding that there is no cut out role for anybody in the house.
He added, “I did domestic chores and I still do. In fact, my son slept on my chest the day they returned from the hospital. For me, a man should be willing to do housework because it is his house.
“I wash the dishes sometimes. It is not about showing love for one’s wife or one’s family. I just believe that since it is my house, it is something I should do.
“Also, when the children see such a thing, they will endeavour to emulate it. It will become a habit.
“Sometimes, whenever my children are reading, I will pack my plates myself to the kitchen after eating rather than disturb their reading. We have no house maids.
“My children sweep, cook and do other house chores. There are no cut-out roles for my wife or anybody in my house.
“There is no rule that says my wife must cook or do other things. I wash the toilet sometimes, since everything one needs to clean the toilet is there,” he said.

"RONALDO MADE HIMSELF"- SIR ALEX FERGUSON HEAPS ENCOMIUMS ON HIS FORMER PROTEGE

Former Manchester United manager, Sir Alex Ferguson, has refused to take any credit, for transforming Cristiano Ronaldo into a superstar.
The Scot, who bought Ronaldo from Sporting Lisbon in 2003, insists that the Real Madrid forward made himself a world-class player.
Ferguson was speaking while accepting the Walther Bensemann prize for outstanding work in football.

“Ronaldo is a perfect example of someone who made himself,” he said.
“It’s easy for me to say, ‘yeah, I made Ronaldo.’
“Many coaches might say I made this player and I made that player, but Ronaldo made himself.
“We just gave him the tools and the platform to excel. His practice ethics was incredible”, he added.

Ferguson also stated that Ronaldo was on a different level, when compared to other Old Trafford legends.
“He was a fantastic player, he was the best,” he added.
“We had fantastic players in [Paul] Scholes, [Ryan] Giggs, and [Eric] Cantona. We had some fantastic footballers, but Ronaldo was just something else.”

CHIEF OLANIPEKUN CRITICISES NBA STANCE ON SUSPENSION OF JUDGES

Contrary to the position canvassed by the Nigeria Bar Association (NBA) that judges arrested for alleged corruption should be asked to resign pending the resolution of the matter, a senior lawyer, Chief Wole Olanipekun (SAN), has warned that such would lead to the total collapse of the judicial arm.

Olanipekun said though he was in support of the NBA president, Mr Mahmoud Abubakar, in his view that the bench should be rid of corruption, but the integrity of the judiciary will be greatly demeaned and undermined if such policy was implemented.

The senior lawyer was reacting to the position of the NBA, asking the National Judicial Council (NJC) to place the five federal and supreme Court judges arrested by the Department of State Security (DSS)‎ on leave pending the time the issue would be resolved.

Speaking in Ikere Ekiti at the weekend after being conferred with the chieftaincy title of Asiwaju of Ikere land, Olanipekun said any president and governor accused of corruption should also step down, so that the policy can be implemented across board.
The lawyer promised to use his new status to unite all the warring factions in the town, particularly to find amicable resolution to the supremacy battle between Ogoga of Ikere, Oba Adejimi Adu and the Olukere of Ikere Ekiti, Oba Ganiyu Obasoyin.

“I support the idea that the judiciary must be rid of corruption, but I disagree with the NBA on this issue that judges accused of corruption should stop handling cases. This quickly suggests that politicians and petition writers will use the opportunity to continue to level allegations against judges and a time will come that there won’t be any judge on the bench to handle cases.

“If that will be the case, it has to cut across board, let any president, governor or political office holder accused of corruption also be asked to resign, for fairness, equity and justice.

“Some are saying that these Judges should be dealt with like every other common Nigerian; the fact remains that they are not ordinary Nigerians. President Muhamadu Buhari heads the executive, Bukola Saraki leads the Senate, Yakubu Dogara leads the House of Representatives and likewise governors of the states, these are not
ordinary Nigerians, just like these Judges, they head the judiciary.

“Even if the judges are ordinary Nigerians, they must enjoy rights to dignity and self respect as enshrined in the constitution. So, the NBA should not oversimplify the issue. If you say a Judge has been accused of corruption and should leave the bench, it is very dangerous to the judiciary.
“There are so many things to think of here, what of if the judges are not found guilty eventually and they are given a clean bill, it means we have prejudged them.
“I want to say with respect to the NBA president that I disagree with this stand and this is my humble opinion. But I support that corruption must not be allowed in the judiciary, because that arm is very crucial to our survival as a nation”, he said.

"SINCE NIGERIAN JUDGES FAILED TO JAIL BUHARI, LET HIM JAIL THEM"- MR IBU GOES FOR JUDGES' JUGULAR

Nollywood Actor, John Okafor, otherwise known as Mr Ibu, has said that he is in support of President Muhammadu Buhari’s action against the Nigerian judiciary in relation to the allegations of corruption and judicial misconduct leveled against some judges.
Recall that the DSS, had on October 7 and 8 reportedly arrested  some Supreme Court justices, Appeal and High Court judges over corruption allegations.
The actor via his social media said his support was based on the fact that most accused judges have folded their arms and allowed injustice ,corrupt practices persist in the judicial system as a common man is unlawfully detained without being tried and accused or refused bail even when they are found guilty or not.

He said: “I will support Buhari for his action against Nigeria Judiciary. when issue of Buhari’s certificate came up, No judge was serious to prosecute Buhari, when IPOB members were killed, no judge talked about it, when Nnamdi KANU was guiltless, no judge talked about it, When Dasuki was granted Bail even in ECOWAS Court, no Judge talked about it, when Shitte Muslims were killed in Kaduna, no judge talked about it, what about the killings in Nimbo and Agatu? No judge talked about it.

“Margaret was killed in kano while preaching, no judge talked about it, all the arrested Boko Haram members where released by Buhari, No judge talked about it.
“2015 general election? No judge talked about it.
“As Nigerian Judiciary failed to jail Buhari; let Buhari jail them, I give him my 100% Support on this one,” he added.

She backed the President, by saying that she belongs to the kitchen, the living room and every room created by God.

She was speaking at the 10th Biennial Diocesan Women’s Guild Conference Thanksgiving Service of the Anglican Diocese of the Niger Delta North in Saint Thomas Anglican Church, Diobu, Port Harcourt on Sunday.

Justice Suzzette Nyesom-Wike said: “All women have been through a lot as they strive to build the society.
“Our contributions to societal development cannot be underestimated.
“I belong to the kitchen, I belong to the living room and I belong to every room created by God. So also other women.

“We are created by God to do more. In my own case as a judicial officer, I also belong to the courtroom. Other women belong to different rooms, depending on their professional calling.”

“Women are very important to the development of any community. They form a larger percentage of the workforce that keeps the society,” she added.
Recall that the President reactions was in response to an ‘explosive’ interview his wife granted the BBC, where she stated that she may not back her husband at the next election .

ABUJA BASED PASTOR URGES CONGREGATION NOT TO BRING LOOTED MONEY TO HER CHURCH

Senior Pastor of the Family Worship Centre (FWC) in Abuja, Sarah Omakwu, has warned members not to offer stolen money to the church as tithes and offerings.
Omakwu said this on Sunday, while delivering a sermon, stating that she is not condemning sinners but money gotten from illegal means should not be brought to the church.
According to her, you cannot be stealing money and take it to church expecting to be forgiven by grace.
“Any money that you cannot explain to God, don’t bring it to this church.
“If you are in the civil service and you have stolen money, please don’t bring the tithe to this church; I say this in Jesus name. You cannot do all that and then think you come to church and say a short prayer, that God will forgive you because of Grace.
“In church today, you see Christian ladies dress and there is no difference between them and prostitutes. What harlots wear to the bar, you wear to church in the name of Grace; nobody can persecute you because the devil has you already.

“If you are a prostitute here today, I do not condemn you. You are my sister; you are a daughter of Abraham and your body belongs to the Lord. I know some girls do this because they have bills to pay and you the man, you have the money but you cannot help them unless you sleep with them.

“You the man who takes advantage of those young girls, what you give to them, your own children will have it too. Bible says rejoice with the wife of your youth and let her breasts satisfy you. Stop all these strange breasts everywhere. You may say, Pastor why are you cursing us? No I am not cursing you; I am praying you out of your depravity.
“If you have stolen money, don’t bring it to this church; I repeat it in Jesus name. Someone says pastor, we will miss money. Yes, I will rather miss your money and have you make heaven.
“Christians should be a standing rebuke to the world.”

BANGKOK MAN GETS METAL RING STUCK IN HIS PHALLUS IN BIZARRE SEX THERAPY FAIL

Doctors at an unnamed hospital in Bangkok, Thailand have rescued a 30-year-old man who got a metal cock ring stuck on his penis.
The man was said to have used the metal cock ring as a sex toy to maintain his erection but became unlucky when he inserted it and could not get it out.
While he was left in unbearable pain, he put a call through to emergency services who rushed him to a nearby hospital.

One of the volunteer rescue workers, Jack Bansakul, told Mirror UK that, “The man put the metal alloy ring on his penis for some kind of sex game at home.
“I’m not sure if it was one he’d bought from a shop or something he found in the garage, but he hadn’t measured himself properly and when his penis expanded he could not remove it.
“It took doctors three hours using a 2ft long bolt cutter and a hacksaw to cut off the small ring to set him free,” Bansakul added.

MARKET WOMEN BLOCK BENIN- LAGOS HIGH WAY OVER RELOCATION OF MARKET

Protesters on Monday blocked the Uselu/Ugbowo section of the Benin-Lagos highway over plans by Egor Local Government Area of Edo State to relocate traders.
The protesters, under the aegis of Uselu Market Women Association, were resisting the directive to move to lock-up stores built by the council.
The women, displaying placards, blocked both sides of the highway, preventing motorists from continuing with their trips.

Some of the women said the N1.2m charged for the stalls was too expensive for them, especially given the type of businesses most of them do.
The women said their problem was compounded by the action of the local council, which commenced the removal of their make shift shops on Monday.
One of the market women, Mrs. Celena Okon, described the council’s action as “an act of wickedness”, in view of the current economic situation in the country.
She said, “What am I selling that you will force me to pay over a million naira for a single store? I believe they should consider the worth of our businesses individually.
Where do you expect a woman who sells only crayfish or tomatoes to get such a ridiculous amount of money to pay, when in actual fact most are in dire need of additional funds to grow their businesses?”

Another market woman, Mrs. Imade Osifo, who described the situation as pathetic, said their decision to barricade the highway was for the world to know what they were going through.
She said, “They want to force us to go into the stores and we have told them that we cannot afford the stores; that is why they are destroying our businesses.”

Osifo, who accused the council of being insensitive, added, “When the plan to construct these lock-up stores came up, they (council) told us that the prices will be pocket friendly, especially to some of us involved in petty trading.
“But what do we have now, N1.2m for a store is a price that most of us cannot afford; there is no way many of us can afford that now.
“Even if the country’s economy was okay, how do you expect a woman who sells only salt and Maggi to generate such?” Osifo asked.

EX FCT MINISTER, ALIYU MODIBBO DUMPS PDP FOR APC

A former Minister of the Federal Capital Territory, FCT, Aliyu Modibbo, has dumped the Peoples Democratic Party, PDP, for the All Progressives Congress, APC, saying it is the first time he is joining a political party.
The former minister was one of the pioneer leaders of the Peoples Democratic Party.
Modibbo registered to become a member of the APC during the weekend at the party’s office in his ward in Kumo West of Akko Local Government Area of Gombe State.

During President Olusegun Obasanjo’s administration, Modibbo served as Minister of State, Power and Steel as well as Minister of Commerce, while he was appointed Minister of FCT by Late President Umaru Yar’Adua.

Modibbo told reporters that he joined the APC in order to contribute his quota to the success of President Muhammadu Buhari government in his quest to change Nigeria for the better.

According to him, “This is the first time I am personally joining a political party, even though I served as minister three times under the PDP administration. All the appointments were based on merit.”
He further noted that he deliberately delayed the move to join the APC till now so that he would not be accused of seeking for an appointment in the administration of the new government.

"RICE WOULD SOON SELL FOR 5,000, PETROL 30- 40 NAIRA AND DOLLAR WOULD GO FOR =N=130"- LAGOS PASTOR CLAIMS

Prophet Ade Okeowo of Word of Liberty Evangelical Ministry, Ikorodu, Lagos State, has revealed that Nigeria will soon experience a turnaround as prices on commodities will crash in no time, stating that God did not, however, specify that the revelation would come to pass under President Muhammadu Buhari’s regime.
He specifically mentioned that God told him the cost of bag of rice and fuel, will be drastically reduced.

He made this revelation in a chat with Encomium, urging Nigerians to stop casting blames on President Buhari, as he needed time to fix the country.
He said, “That’s what God has revealed to me. Listen to me attentively; I am not speaking my words but God’s.
“Now, people buy rice N25, 000 per bag but God told me that we’re going to buy a bag of rice as cheap as N5, 000. A US dollar will exchange for as low as N150 and fuel will sell for as low as N30 or N40 per litre. That’s what God said will happen in this country.”
Asked if his prophecies will come to pass during Buhari’s administration, the cleric said, “God didn’t tell me that one but He revealed to me all of these and more beautiful things will happen after all the pain, but Buhari’s efforts will lead to that.

“Nigeria will be forced to a stage of break up but God will intervene.”
The Prophet further noted that Buhari is not to blame for the economic woes.
He said, “We should not blame anybody. People should not even hold Buhari responsible at all. From what God has revealed to me, He sent Buhari to Nigerians as an angel.

“God has also revealed to me that Buhari shouldn’t be worried, that everything will soon be alright. God showed me that Nigeria is like a second hand car (Tokunbo). We all know that if you buy a second hand car, it’s surely not in a perfect state. You will be fixing this today, that tomorrow until it’s fully fit. And it’s not something that will be done overnight.
“We all need to understand that if we want the country to move forward. Buhari is the one buying all the spare parts to repair the damaged car called Nigeria. By the time he completes the repair, the vehicle will move and everybody will enjoy it. That’s just the parable of Nigeria’s situation now.
“Everything will soon be alright. There are many Josephs that God is going to use to uplift this country, and Buhari is one of them.”
Recalling the other prophecies of his that have also come to pass in recent times, the Prophet said, “I predicted the Olympic soccer final. I said Germany would defeat Nigeria, it came to pass. I even said it’s going to be 2-0. I said the gold medal was for Brazil, they all came to pass.
“I predicted President Jonathan would lose the 2015 presidential election, a lot of people didn’t believe it. Even some prophets almost bet their lives on it that Buhari would lose, but it was revealed to me that Buhari would win and he won.
“Even, God revealed to me that no matter what other governorship candidates in Oyo do, Abiola Ajimobi will emerge victorious and it came to pass. I still have a message for him.”
The father of two concluded by saying “God told me to warn Governor Akinwunmi Ambode of Lagos State to beware of the way he chose his commissioners so that they will not destroy his government.
“Also, Governor Amosun of Ogun State should be careful of some people in the state, because some of them are hell bent in destroying his government as well.”

EX IGP, ARASE DEBUNKS ALLEGATIONS OF 19 RECOVERED CARS FROM HIM

Ex-Inspector General of Police, Solomon Arase, has debunked reports linking him to the return of 19 cars he allegedly left with on retirement and has threatened to institute legal action if the “embarrassment” does not cease.
In a statement signed by Arase, he said that there was no time he took away such a number of cars from the Nigerian Police outside what was rightfully his.

He said, “So, there couldn’t have been any vehicle recovered from me. If there was any such, those behind this campaign of calumny should please make the number plates of the vehicles public and where they were recovered from.”
About 4 months ago, IGP Ibrahim Idris had told journalists during an interview that his predecessor had carted away 24 exotic cars that he was not supposed to, including the one meant for the IGP.
But reacting, Arase said he had all the information needed to verify where the cars were and as well as clarification on anything for that matter if that which is contained in the handover notes was not enough.
But reports Monday said the Police Force has now recovered the19 assorted cars allegedly taken away by the former IGP.

It was reported that the cars, 24 in number, were distributed among the former IGP and members of his management team, such as the Deputy Inspectors General of Police, DIGs, who retired along with him.

The report further said the investigation unit is still working on recovering the remaining five vehicles, allegedly in the custody of one of the retired DIGs.
But Arase in a statement said, “It is embarrassing for me to wake up on Monday morning to be inundated with calls and messages on purported 19 vehicles recovered from me.

“I wish to reassure the general public that there was nothing like that. Like I said in July, I did not take any police vehicle with me outside what I am entitled to, and so, there couldn’t have been any vehicle recovered from me.

“If there was any such, those behind this campaign of calumny should please make the number plates of the vehicles public and where they were recovered from.
“Rather than dissipating so much energy on ‘project drag Arase down’, I urge those behind this evil campaign to face their official responsibility for which much is expected from them by the nation.
“I have done my bit and my own records bear me witness. Let those daily frightened by the shadow of Arase learn to face reality and stop chasing shadows so that they are not hunted by same.”

MANUEL LANZINI HANDS WEST HAM FIRST WIN OF THE SEASON AGAINST CRYSTAL PALACE

Manuel Lanzini got West Ham in front. Photo: PA
Christian Benteke's dream week ended with a nightmare penalty miss as Crystal Palace crashed 1-0 at home to struggling West Ham.
The Belgium striker began the week by scoring the fastest goal in World Cup qualifying history on his way to a hat-trick against Gibraltar, and three days later celebrated the birth of his daughter.
But when handed the opportunity to cap a remarkable seven days by cancelling out Manuel Lanzini's strike, Benteke scooped his spot-kick horribly off target.
The miss condemned Palace to a first defeat in six matches while West Ham were able to climb out of the relegation zone following only their second win of the season.

The only blot on West Ham's evening was a red card for Aaron Cresswell, who was harshly booked for a dive and then shown a second yellow just 48 seconds later.
While the Hammers have struggled to adapt to life at their new London Stadium they certainly seem to enjoy playing at Selhurst Park, making it three wins from their last three visits thanks to Lanzini's first-half goal.
Slaven Bilic's side, who began the weekend with the worst defensive record in the division, lined up with five at the back with midfielder Cheikhou Kouyate providing the extra man.
But that did not stop Jason Puncheon finding a huge gap to play the ball through to Wilfried Zaha, who flashed his shot across goal and wide.
However, there was an intensity to West Ham's play which has so far been missing at their new ground.

They took the lead in the 19th minute when Dimitri Payet toyed with three Palace defenders before feeding Cresswell, who fizzed in a precise, low cross which Lanzini gobbled up at the near post.
But Palace, who had barely threatened since that early Zaha chance, were gifted a way back into the game moments before half-time when Benteke tumbled over Angelo Ogbonna in the area.
Benteke confidently stepped up to take the spot-kick, but lifted his side-footed effort high and wide of the top corner.Aaron Cresswell saw red.

Still there was time for Andros Townsend to find Benteke in the area again before the break, but he knew his luck was out when his header grazed a post and flew wide.
After the interval Cresswell, impressing on his first appearance of the season following a knee injury, was clipped by Yohan Cabaye in the area only for referee Martin Atkinson to book him for simulation.
That decision was compounded less than a minute later when Cresswell tugged back Zaha to earn his marching orders.
But Palace were unable to take advantage with Benteke heading over the crossbar and Hammers keeper Adrian making a fine point-blank save to deny Connor Wickham in stoppage time.
