The actor who was furious at the influx of the ‘unconfirmed’ reports, said it’s a fake rumour which needed to be ignored.
On his Twitter handle @YulEdochie on Tuesday, the actor wrote: “My father, Chief Pete Edochie is alive and well.
“What do people gain from spreading these fake rumors without confirmation?? It’s just crazy.”
It would be recalled that this is not the first time news of the legendary actor being dead is making the rounds.
In 2013, it was rumoured that Edochie, during the Christmas season, fell off a 50 feet height mountain in Kitzbuhel, Austria and died.
While his son has confirmed that his father is alive and well, the ace performer is yet to comment on the weird report.
