Manchester United defender, Paul Pogba shut down questions from reporters following the club’s 3-1 defeat to West Ham on Saturday.
This was amid growing unrest at Old Trafford.
The Saturday’s result means the Red Devils have won just three of their opening seven Premier League matches this season.
Sky Sports had earlier shown Mourinho and Pogba engaging in a training ground bust-up last Wednesday.
The Frenchman was substituted in the 70th minute at the London Stadium at the weekend.
It follows Mourinho’s decision to strip him of the vice-captaincy after United’s 1-1 draw with Wolves.
Pogba had criticised Mourinho’s cautious tactics at Old Trafford.
Approached by reporters for a chat in the mixed zone in the aftermath of Saturday’s defeat to West Ham, Pogba replied, “You want me dead?”
