MANCHESTER UNITED BANISHES BASTIAN SCHWEINSTEIGER TO THE RESERVES AS CLUB EYES POGBA DEAL

BASTIAN SCHWEINSTEIGER finally looks set for the Manchester United exit door, after Jose Mourinho ordered him to clear out his locker.
The German midfielder, 32, has been moved from the first team dressing room to join the reserve squad.

On top of that, new boss Mourinho has ordered Schweinsteiger to look for a new club immediately.
The central midfielder trained with the Under-21s last week – alongside eight others – as the Special One phases him out.
The former Bayern Munich man struggled in his debut season under sacked boss Louis van Gaal, featuring 18 times in the Premier League, failing to set the league alight.

Schweinsteiger cost the Dutch boss £14million but his form was not the only concern as his fitness failed to live up to the required level.
With United looking to play an up-tempo style of play, Schweinsteiger certainly doesn’t fit the bill, with Paul Pogba all but certain to fill that void.
Amid the clubs keen on taking a gamble on the German are Serie A rivals Inter Milan and AC Milan.
