PDP WAR: YOU CANT REGULATE US- BOT TELLS NWC

The Board of Trustees (BoT) of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) has said as a special organ it cannot be regulated by any other organ of the party.

The ‎PDP National Working Committee (NWC), had in a statement on Monday, postponed the proposed National Caucus, the BoT and the National Executive Committee (NEC), which were earlier scheduled this week for the adoption of a new National Chairman for the party.

In the statement signed by the National Publicity Secretary, Chief Olisa Metuh,‎ the NWC said the National Caucus would meet on Monday next week while the BoT and NEC hold on Tuesday.

But despite the rescheduling of the meetings, the BoT still met on Wednesday and appointed Senator Walid Jubrin as Acting Chairman to replace Dr. Haliru Bello Mohammed. Walid also doubles as Secretary to the board.
