SOME OF THE RED CARPET MOMENTS AT THIS YEAR'S EMMY'S AWARDS (PHOTOS)

The 68th Annual Primetime Emmy Awards, held in the Microsoft Theater in Los Angeles, was steaming hot — both literally and figuratively. At a steamy 86 degrees, the stars were glowing and (mostly) well-dressed. From Sarah Hyland in pants to Emily Ratajkowski looking the complete opposite of “repugnant,” the best definitely brought it. As for the worst, well, those were few and far between, although a few could have done better

While James Corden said that Kristen Bell’s dress was “literally a duvet,” Kristen Bell’s Zuhair Murad Fall 2016 couture gown was so much better than bedding. (Photo: Getty Images)

Kirsten Dunst’s dress was basically like a mini dress that decided to go to a black-tie ball at the last minute — but in a totally good way! (Photo: Getty Images)

“The fab Anna Chlumsky just had a baby and looks amazing, fashion risks on the carpet tonight in Siriano,” the designer tweeted of this questionable look. Chlumsky gets points for at least trying something creative. (Photo: Getty Images)

While Amy Poehler and her funny friend Tina Fey both opted for shades of green, Poehler’s color just wasn’t right. Additionally, the silhouette, which featured a poncho-like layer, didn’t do her any favors. (Photo: Getty Images)

After being called “vulgar” and “repugnant” by fashion commentator Tim Gunn, Emily Ratajkowski looked exactly the opposite of that in a midnight-blue Zac Posen gown. With her hair slicked back and exaggerated eye shadow to match the color of her gown, the actress earned a perfect 10. (Photo: Getty Images)

Kylie Jenner might’ve worn it better, but you gotta give Ariel Winter credit where credit’s due. The Modern Family actress wore a glittery gown from designer Yousef Al Jasmi with a thigh-high slit and high neckline. (Photo: Getty Images)

Angela Bassett was just one of ten people Christian Siriano dressed for the Emmys — but she might have been the best of them all. (Photo: Getty Images)

While Viola Davis’s hair and makeup was the best of the night, her hot pink Marchesa dress fell a little short. (Photo: Getty Images)
