MANCHESTER UNITED DISRESPECTED LOUIS VAN GAAL -DALEY BLIND

Daley Blind has condemned the sacking of Louis van Gaal and claimed the manager was not treated fairly or with enough respect at Manchester United.
Van Gaal’s dismissal as United manager was confirmed last night, but while the Dutchman had lost large swathes of the Old Trafford dressing room, compatriot Daley Blind was his one staunch supporter.
And the United and Holland defender believes Van Gaal has been shabbily treated after bemoaning his departure and the persistent speculation about his future in recent months. Jose Mourinho will take over as United manager this week.

I've enjoyed working with the manager so much,” Blind said on international duty with Holland ahead of Friday’s friendly against Ireland in Dublin.
“I would have liked to have carried on for a long while. A manager at a big club in the Premier League will always be under pressure. But in the case of Van Gaal he has not been treated fairly over the last six months.

think a manager with the status of Van Gaal, who has achieved so much in his career, deserved more respect.”
Blind also believes the United squad should have been grateful for the support Van Gaal gave them publicly, despite their on-pitch struggles and failure to qualify for the Champions League.
