Nwankwo Kanu made another glorious appearance in a charity match by scoring a hat-trick against AC Milan legends. Years ago, the gangling striker thumped in three goals against Chelsea, one of his most memorable outings in an Arsenal shirt. The striker just reminded his teeming fans what they have been missing when he stepped out once more in an Arsenal shirt to score three goals
Nwankwo Kanu played from 1999-2004, and if there was
ever anyone who embodied how much fun it must be to play the game you
love as a grownup person, it’s Kanu. Seemingly all legs and arms, he had
a knack for popping up at the right place at the right time and scoring
a timely goal. The third goal was an absolute worldy.
Kanu bagged another hat-trick
again yesterday, and Robert Pires added a fourth to beat Milan, featuring the likes
of Cafu, Marcel De Sailly.
You just wonder if he shouldnt be recalled to play for the Eagles who could do with his prolific streak given the tons of chances the team missed against Tanzania on Saturday. Lol
