TERMINALLY ILL LEICESTER FAN WHO CLAIMS TO BE KEPT ALIVE BY LEICESTER'S HEROICS THIS SEASON, HAS DIED

A TERMINALLY ill Leicester fan who claimed that the Foxes remarkable title challenge was keeping him alive has lost his battle with cancer.
But the Australian, who has avidly followed the Foxes all his life despite living 10,000 miles away in Adelaide, stunned medics by fighting on for a further year.

He died surrounded by his three children and wife Donna.
She said: “I got his children and we sat and watched the Leicester game together.
“He did have a bit of a jump up and down out of his seat when Vardy scored. He was not able to walk at that time, so we were shocked when he got up out of his seat.
“He could not say a lot, but his last voice was used watching the Leicester game, wearing his Leicester scarf.
“He used all his energy on the last match. He was talking with his sons and daughter about the refereeing decision and the game.

“He really was not coherent from that point on until he passed away.
“He lived and breathed Leicester City. He is going to cheer them on from up there.”
Leicester City currently sit five points clear at the top of the Premier League, with four games remaining in what has been an incredible season.
