NEYMAR could face a La Liga ban for slapping Valencia star Antonio Barragan after Barcelona’s loss on Sunday night.
It has been reported the Nou Camp ace also threw a bottle of water at the defender in the tunnel — but missed — before shouting “shut up, I earn ten times more than you!”
Neymar, 24, interrupted Barragan and his travelling team-mates’ full-time celebrations by raising his hands to the defender’s face.
Barca lost 2-1 at home to record their third league defeat in a row — and fourth without a win.
Santi Mina scored just before the break to add to Ivan Rakitic’s own-goal and plunge the Catalan club into further despair.
And Valencia’s stars — who have climbed out of the relegation zone and now sit 12th in the table — joined together in celebration once the final whistle was blown.
Neymar, having failed to threaten the visitors all game, spoiled the party by sneaking up to the trio and butting in.
Barragan had to be held back by his team-mates to stop him confronting the Barcelona star.
Referee David Fernandez Borbalan failed to see the slap but TV cameras picked it up.
