Interim coach of the Super Eagles, Samson Siasia, has said he is still hoping to welcome back Vincent Enyeama and Emmanuel Emenike, for this month’s Africa Cup of Nations qualifier against Egypt.
Both players quit the national team last year and they have also made it clear recently that their decision will not be rescinded.
Siasia has now revealed that the Eagles Secretary has spoken with the two players and he will also have a word with them.
“I will also talk to them. If they can help us of course we will be happy to see them back in the team,” he said.
“I have not directly contacted any of the players for now but I told the team secretary Dayo Enebi to get in touch and also forward their numbers to me to talk to them too.”
