The Acting President, Yemi Osinbajo, on Monday acknowledged the
complaints of protesting Nigerians, saying “We hear you loud and clear.”
Osinbajo’s media aide quoted the Acting President as making the
remark in response to the anti-government protest currently going on
nationwide.
Akande, who took to his twitter handle@akandeoj wrote: “We hear you
loud and clear; Ag. President Osinbajo to Nigerians on the streets, as
he opens Private Sector forum just now in Aso Rock
“Ag. President then recalled@MBuhari‘s words: “I know how difficult
things are. All my adult life I have always earned a salary.”
“President Buhari then added “I know what it is like when salary is
not enough.” Ag. President assures Nigerians relief is sure on the way.”
Earlier, Nigerians in their numbers took to the streets across the
nation to protest against the policies of the President Muhammadu
Buhari-led Federal Government.
