BELEAGUERED BARCA RUN RIOT OVER DEPORTIVO- HITTING EIGHT !!!

LUIS SUAREZ and Barcelona returned to winning ways in thumping fashion as they romped to an 8-0 win at Deportivo La Coruna.
The Catalans headed into the clash on Wednesday on the back of three straight defeats, but two early strikes from the Uruguayan helped settle the nerves as they maintained top spot in La Liga.
Suarez muscled a defender out of the way to pounce from close-range following a corner after 11 minutes to break the deadlock.

He grabbed his second 12 minutes later, tucking home past the keeper Fernandez after a one-two with Lionel Messi.
Suarez then turned creator after the restart, picking out the Croatian Ivan Rakitic at the back post for the third before sealing his treble.
Messi was the provider again for the former Liverpool man, sliding the ball through for him to latch on to and poke the ball past the onrushing goalie.

That was Suarez’s 48th goal of the season, surpassing the milestone of 47 set by former Brazil and Barca striker Ronaldo back in the 1996/97 campaign.
And it was to get even better for the hotshot as he netted goal number 49 and his side’s fifth of the evening on 65 minutes.
Not to be outdone, Messi then added his name to the scoresheet and Marc Bartra made it seven moments later.

And the mauling was completed in the 83rd minute as Brazilian forward Neymar added to eighth.
With joint-leaders Atletico and third-placed Real Madrid kicking off later in the evening, the result guarantees that Barca will remain in top spot heading into this weekend’s fixtures.
