OSCAR PISTORIUS' APPEAL AGAINST MURDER CHARGES IS DISMISSED BY SOUTH AFRICA'S HIGHEST COURT

South Africa's highest court has rejected Oscar Pistorius's right to appeal against his conviction for the murder of his girlfriend Reeva Steenkamp. 
The Constitutional Court today ruled the Paralympian had no reasonable grounds of success with his legal fight, TV news channel ENCA reported.
After the hearing, National Prosecuting Authority spokesman Luvuyo Mfaku said: 'We can confirm that Oscar Pistorius's leave to appeal has been denied.'

Pistorius now faces a possible minimum 15-year jail sentence after he was convicted of deliberately gunning down his lover on Valentine's Day three years ago.
